ピーター・シフ、ジム・ロジャーズ、そしてマーク・ファーバーと言えば、アメリカで人気（？）の「ドル崩壊論御三家」ですが、彼らの予測が現実になりそうな兆候が。

Dollar Weakened By Fed Money Move

The dollar has fallen against all major currencies after the Federal Reserve announced plans to pump another $1.15 trillion (£805bn) into the financial system.

The move was aimed at strengthening the central bank's hand in its battle against the economic crisis - to try to spark a recovery.

But the decision weakened US currency with the dollar falling by 3.8% against the euro and by 3.6% against the pound.

The Fed surprised financial markets by saying it would buy up to $300bn (£210bn) in long-term US Treasury bonds over the next six months "to help improve conditions in private credit markets".

This was the first time in four decades it has taken such a measure.

After a two-day meeting, the bank also said it would boost purchases of mortgage-backed securities by $750bn (£525bn) to bring its total to $1.25 trillion (£875bn) this year.
It said it will also buy $100bn (£70bn) more in other federal agency debt, as part of a wide-ranging effort to revive the sagging US economy.

日本では「円高」という風に報道されておりますが（あたりまえですが）、これって「ドル安」なんですよね。今回のドル安は連銀の個別措置に反応してドルが一気に下げたという意味で象徴的かも知れません。

そういえば永井陽之助氏の死が報道されてましたね。私も一昨日の新聞を見て驚きました。

個人的には彼が『現代と戦略』でレイモン・アロンとクラウゼヴィッツに注目して論じていたことが非常に印象に残っております。私の中では京大の故高坂氏よりも評価はかなり高いです。三極委員会のメンバーだったらしいですが。
